Group accommodation (up to 15 people)

Farm ‘De Fryhof’, located on the North Holland Eilandspolder, has six unique rooms, a spacious living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious outdoor area. This group accommodation is close to cities such as Amsterdam and Alkmaar.

We – Iris, Titia & Steven – offer your group the opportunity to rent our spacious renovated farmhouse, with plenty of space both inside and outside. The group accommodation is suitable for business meetings as well as for groups with family or friends. Even the location, at the end of the paved road, contributes to a complete sense of privacy.

From the farm you look out over the beautiful nature of the Eilandspolder. In the nearby lake it is possible to enjoy swimming, fishing and boating; we have a rowing boat and two canoes that you can use. Our beautiful, enclosed garden is also very suitable for small children.

Facilities

The six country-style luxury double rooms each have their own bathroom and toilet. In four rooms it seems as if you are sleeping outside, thanks to the skylights. When the weather is clear, you can look at the starry sky from your bed.

Possibilities for your group

It is important to us that you quickly feel at home with your group, of whatever nature. We respond to this together with you, by clearly discussing in advance what your wishes and desires are in the group accommodation. What suits your group best?

You can, for example, provide all or part of the meals yourself, undertake an outdoor activity, tell stories around the campfire or just enjoy yourself in peace. Everything is possible! Only music outside is not allowed, because our farmhouse is located in a quiet area. We are therefore not a location for exuberant celebrations and parties.

Location Group accommodation

The Meerdijk (in Grootschermer) where our group accommodation is located, runs along the protected nature reserve De Eilandspolder and changes into a grass dike at the Fryhof. So only local traffic here and also many walkers, cyclists, fishermen, nature lovers and birds. And the restaurants are within walking distance of our farm.
