In the quiet of the North Holland Eilandspolder, only a half hour drive from Amsterdam and close to Alkmaar, lies a beautifully renovated farmhouse.

A special meeting location in the middle of a green nature reserve, where you can still experience real silence. No traffic, no sounds of the city, no noise, just the sounds of nature. Meeting in the most beautiful place in the Netherlands

On this farm you will be the guest of Iris, Titia & Steven. Here they can let everyone enjoy what they think is the most beautiful place in the Netherlands. And a beautiful spot, it is! Peace, space and a beautiful view over the characteristic North Holland polder.

The whole location to yourself alone

In an area where Peace is written with a capital P, you can naturally meet undisturbed. The farm has an attractive space for a small-scale meeting, training or brainstorming session for up to 15 people. All necessary facilities are available. In the autumn and winter you can have a cozy meeting inside by the warm wood stove, in the spring and summer it is wonderful to meet outside in the yard. You always have exclusive use of the location, there are no other guests present during your stay.

Spend the night at Stientje, Eefje or Trijntje

After an intensive day, you dream away on a comfortable box-spring bed in one of the luxurious guest rooms. All rooms have two separate beds, a private bathroom and are equipped with, among other things, a TV and free WiFi. You don’t have to set an alarm clock in the morning, the cheerful twittering of the many meadow birds will wake you up automatically. The beautiful views over the polder, the real silence and the fresh air provide an inspiring start to the day.

The quietest meeting location near Alkmaar and Amsterdam

De Fryhof farm is located in Grootschermer in North Holland, in the middle of the beautiful Eilandspolder. This private meeting location is easy to reach, half an hour’s drive from Amsterdam and 10 minutes from Alkmaar. There is ample parking in the closed area. Want to get away from it all? The North Sea beach is only half an hour’s drive away.

Location

The Meerdijk (in Grootschermer) where our group accommodation is located, runs along the protected nature reserve De Eilandspolder and changes into a grass dike at the Fryhof. So only local traffic here and also many walkers, cyclists, fishermen, nature lovers and birds. And the restaurants are within walking distance of our farm.

In our immediate vicinity are cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem Alkmaar, tourist attractions such as the Zaanse Schans and Schermer windmills (with a museum windmill) and – just a half-hour drive away – the coastal towns of Bergen and Egmond aan Zee.

Possibilities

It is important to us that you quickly feel at home with your group, of whatever nature. We respond to this together with you, by clearly discussing in advance what your wishes and desires are in the group accommodation. What suits your group best? You can, for example, provide all or part of the meals yourself, undertake an outdoor activity, tell stories around the campfire or just enjoy yourself in peace.
